Once known as Mystery Mountain, this is the highest peak in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada.  Although Mount Fairweather and Mount Quincy Adams, which both straddle the US border between Alaska and British Columbia are taller, Mount Waddington is the highset peak that lies entirely within British Columbia.

This is a ski we’d recommend for women that rip, a ski that falls into a womens category but is built like a unisex or ‘men's’ ski.  The difference between the Santa Ana 93 and Enforcer 93 is it’s core, Balsa vs Ash/Poplar.  The Ash/Poplar is better for an average Male weight and vise versa.  Honestly any review you read on the Enforcer 93 can be applied to the Santa Ana 93, they are very similar.  There are not many skis out on the market for women that are built like this, it’s the Santa Ana (the wider version of this), the Volkl Kenja and Aura, sorry Black Pearl 88 you’re a bit more ‘Basic’.  The east coast friendly waist width and top notch construction will have no problem arcing high speed turns down your favorite run that you raced on years ago, though they will feel a little looser in the tails than your GS skis, due to the rocker in the tails.  But that rocker in tails is going to make skiing trees a lot more fun, and powder --- hot damn you’re gonna have some fun.  The Santa Ana 93 is an all mountain peformer, not amazing at any one thing, but it’s really good at everything and a ski that expert women WILL like.

The HEAD Supershape Rally Skis are where a proven, race derived method of construction meets the leading edge of ski technology, in KERS energy management system. Wood has been essential to the creation of high performance skis since the very beginning. The addition of titanium alloy allows the ski to consistently perform on a high edge angle. Variable terrain requires varying degrees of stiffness from the ski in order to optimize performance. This problem is typically overcome by the assembly of a quiver of multiple pairs of skis. One for ice, one for pow, and one for those days that fall somewhere in between. The Supershape Rally Ski is not in any way built for super deep snow, but it goes beast mode on everything else. KERS energy management system stores electrical energy in a chip. This energy is sourced from the kinetic energy which travels through the ski while you're tearing it up. When sensors detect chatter, resulting from icey conditions, this stored electric energy is strategiclly released in order to stiffen the ski and thereby improve your ability to sink the edge. The Variant 87 is one of the best frontside skis available for the carver and, because this ski is light with a carbon lay, they're also a very nice touring ski when taken into the bc. Liberty mixes in their bamboo wood core with the best materials in the industry ! The Variant 87 turns quickly and easily, and is a terrific ski in moguls as well. There's really nothing you can't attack with the 87 and with its playful nature its great for almost every level skier. It's a rare ski that a lower intermediate to expert level can really enjoy.

The Head Kore 93 skis are a perfect example of an everyday ski that performs very well in most major categories, and has very few weaknesses. Because of its construction, shape, and profile, the Head Kore 93 is extraordinarily versatile and worthy of consideration as a one-ski quiver winner. It is extremely lightweight and has a good size shovel, so it can float on some fresh snow without much complaint. It’s fairly evenly matched both on piste and off, with the best part of the ski shining somewhere in the middle. Whether you’re in the trees, bumps, steeps, or bowls, the Head Kore 93 can certainly handle everything you can throw at it. Thanks to its lightweight Karuba wood core, the Kore 93 feels a lot lighter than many other skis in its class. By adding Graphene (very strong and light) and carbon fiber to the mix, the Kore 93 behaves and performs like a much more beefy ski but doesn’t have any of the sluggishness or abusiveness that a burlier ski has. With no metal laminate, the skis are more snappy and poppy than damp, but the materials used do provide for a very smooth ride. It’s got some camber underfoot and a turn radius of 16.4 meters, so it rips shorter GS style turns with no problem whatsoever. They’re lightning quick and super maneuverable, so tree skiing and moguls are an absolute blast. There’s a lot of competition surrounding skis of this shape and capabilities, and the  Head Kore 93 is certainly at the tops of the list.

This auction is for a nice pair of Line Mr. Pollard's Opus Skis.  They are 178 cm. in length.  These skis are in very good condition.  The top sheets are nice, edges are sharp and bases are smooth.  They are mounted with Marker Griffon Bindings.  They have DIN adjustment from 4-12 and the DIN's have been turned down to protect the springs.  The bindings are set to fit boots with a bootsole length of 305 mm. but will adjust to fit boots that are couple sizes bigger and smaller.  The bindings are in excellent condition.  These are my favorite powder skis because they have perfect flex and perfect shape.  The top sheets and bases are beautifully designed.  If you want to slay the big mountain, these are the ski to do it with.  On a powder day, there is no other ski that I want to be on.  Eric Pollard is the man.  These are my favorite powder skis, and they are very rare and hard to find.
